Sin embargo, la pregunta por la esencia, el cuerpo y el alma divina, queda sin respuesta. Es demasiado poco científico, se dice. Aunque se describen con todo detalle las particularidades del comportamiento en la vida y la relación con la muerte. Pero todos esos análisis no dan una respuesta concreta. La ciencia admite que solo tiene puntos de vista parciales. Que lo mejor será reservarse cada uno para su área particular y contentarse con ella. Y a pesar de todo, el ser humano anhela una respuesta a la pregunta decisiva: ¿qué es el ser humano? ¿Qué es la enfermedad, la salud, el bien y el mal? ¿Qué es el pecado?
